Our Baby Girl- Mu Mu, when she was...

Mu-Mu and mommy stayed with a-gon and a-ma for a month after discharged from the hospital.  Its a Taiwanese tradition for mom to stay in after labor to help recovery.

In fact, we stayed there for more than a month because of some physical complication I had.  Thank you to mom, dad and Tina, I survived the first couple months and Mu-Mu was fast to catch up her growth rate!  In addition, I need to thank my husband for being a trouper driving back and forth daily between our apartment and my parents house for more than a month and of course being my emotional support system.

I soon realized that breast feeding doesn't come naturally for either mommy nor baby, both needs to work on it.  In addition,  I didn't have much milk for the first week or so which meant that Mu-Mu was not able to get much despite her best effort.  We had to visit the lactation clinic frequently for the first few weeks, until Mu-Mu was able to latch on properly and get enough milk from mommy.

Mu-Mu is so tiny;
her hat and onesie looks so big on her!
