(August 6th) Celebrating Mu-Mu's 1 year old birthday!
Mu-Mu turned 1 year old today...
We celebrated Mu-Mu's birthday with a trip to Mandarin buffet
then back to Mom and dad's house for birthday cake and "zua-zao"
At the restaurant...
"Zua-Zao": a Chinese tradition game for child's first birthday occasion.
Here an array of subjects representing different careers are set in front of the child and whatever subject the child grab for the longest time would suppose to predict his/her future career path.
Waiting for the game to set up
A birthday blessing ritual: eating an apple and a chicken leg
Mu-Mu in action...
Mu-Mu chose a xylophone, a ruler and a book!
So she might turn out to be a musician, a judge or a scholar!!
We'll see...
Finally, singing birthday song and cutting cake...

(Aug 4th) Mu-Mu at 11 months and 4 weeks...
At 11 months and 4 weeks,
we can see Mu-Mu slowly develop into this little person,
determine, stubborn, funny, quirky and above all happy little Mu-Mu.
Now a days,
Mu-Mu can stand up longer holding up to things and at times on her own.
she can use her hands and fingers more delicately,
to point or pick up things.
She still loves to be held and be part of things...
We are certainly proud parents of our little baby girl, and
she is turning one in two days!

First time at Roger Center
Mu-Mu visited the Roger Center for the first time
while Argonaut
, the Toronto football team, played against BC Lion.
Mu-Mu was fascinated by the huge dome and crowd,
colorful uniform and signs, and extreme loud noises.
Supermarket outing with Daddy!
The other day, Mu-Mu and mommy were stuck in the apartment all day.
When Daddy got home, he decided to take Mu-Mu to the supermarket by himself.
Mu-Mu obviously enjoyed the surprised supermarket outing very much,
as you can see from the pictures...
